Gwendolyn Zepeda was the first Latina blogger and began her writing career on the Web in 1997. Her first book, a short story collection, was published in 2004. Since then, she has written three novels for Grand Central Publishing (Hachette), the latest of which is Better With You Here (July 2012). She also wrote four award-winning bilingual picture books for Arte Publico Press, including Growing Up with Tamales. She lives in Houston.
