Alidis Vicente is a children’s book author of Puerto Rican heritage.  She is a graduate of Rutgers University and author of two children’s books.

Her first publication, The Coqui & the Iguana, was a picture book released in 2011 by Operation Outreach USA Press.  Her latest bilingual work, The Missing Chancleta & Other Top Secret Cases, will be published on 11/30/13 by Arte Publico Press.

Alidis is currently represented by Writers House Literary Agency and lives in New Jersey with her family.  She hopes to reach many more young readers with future work.
