René Saldaña, Jr., currently lives in Lubbock, Texas, where he teaching in the College of Education at Texas Tech University. He’s the author of several books for young audiences. They include The Jumping Tree, Finding Our Way: Stories, A Good Long Way, and the Mickey Rangel detective series.
