Michael Nava is the author of the Henry Rios novels which won six Lambda Literary Awards between 1988 and 2000. He is also the receipient of the Bill Whitehead Award for Lifetime Achievement in LGBT Literature and the Saints and Sinners Literary Festival Hall of Fame. He is currently at work on a series of historical novels set in Mexico, Arizona and Hollywood between 1895 and 1929.
