Jamie Martinez Woods

Jamie Martinez Wood is the recipient of the 2008 International Latino Book Award Best Reference Book for Latino Writers and Journalists, a collection of 150 biographical essays. She is the author of eight books including The Faerie’s Guide to Green Magick From the Garden and  Rogelia’s House of Magic, a novel about three teens’ journey under the guidance of a curandera, for which she was named the “Latina J. K. Rowling.” Jamie conducts workshops and retreats on earth spirituality, seasonal living, and writing. A free spirit, she is on an eclectic path to protect nature through writing and teaching.
