Eliud Martinez

Eliud Martínez has published a novel Voice-Haunted Journey and several short stories. His most recent publications are “A Convergence of Like Minds: Bocaccio, Rilke, Carpentier and Bacon,” on the occasion of don Luis Leal’s 100th birthday; and American Identities: California Stories of Multiple Ancestries (2008), a collection of stories written by his students, which he edited. He is Professor Emeritus of Creative Writing and Comparative Literature at UC Riverside, California where he has taught since 1972.
