Montserrat Lehner was born in Santa Marta, a small town on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Passionate about nature, Montserrat graduated from Universidad Javeriana in Bogota with a BS and dedicated her time to her passions: family, nature and art. She moved to the U.S in 2000, where she currently teaches Science and World Languages. The Legend of The Açaí is her first book.
