Acerca de mí:
Soy una escritora mexicana, nacida y criada en la ciudad de México que desde 2007 reside en la ciudad de Seattle.
Estudié artes escénicas en la década de los noventa y me convertí en actriz y cantante profesional.
Estudié Lengua y Literatura italianas en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Pertenezco a un grupo de escritores hispanos que se llama: Seattle Escribe.
Escribo mis obras en español porque me considero una promotora de la cultura hispana y una feroz defensora de mi lengua. Encuentro en el español gran motivo de orgullo e identidad.
La presentación oficial de mi primer libro, Los cuentos para soñar de mi Nana Luna, se llevó a cabo en The Seattle Public Library con gran éxito el día 22 de Junio de 2014.
Escribo relatos cortos, poesías, ensayos e historias para niños. En este momento estoy trabajando en lo que será mi primera novela.

Bio
Nora Girón-Dolce is a Mexican writer, actress and singer, who was born and raised in México City. She resides in Seattle since 2007.
She studied Performing Arts in the early 90’s and became a professional singer and actress.
She studied Italian Language and Literature at the Autonomous National University of México.
Recently Nora published her first children’s book in Spanish: Los cuentos para soñar de mi Nana Luna (In English: Nana Luna’s bed time stories to dream).
Nora considers herself a Hispanic culture promoter. She acts, writes and sings in Spanish because she finds great pride and identity in her language. It makes her feel at home.
For a long time she has desired to start a small theater company to offer a cultural option for Hispanic Latino audiences in the Northwest.
About my book:
“Nana Luna’s bed time stories to dream” is a collection of eight stories which are delicately joined by a silver cord: Nana Luna’s voice. This thread intertwines them and makes them become part of a whole, a little world of loving memories where reality and fantasy are mixed to such an extent that the line between them will be difficult to distinguish.
Created especially for girls, women, mothers, daughters and grandmothers, but open to delight boys, men, fathers and grandfathers who venture browsing its pages; “Nana Luna’s bed time stories to dream” will transport the reader to a distant childhood where the rulers are, love and imagination.
